Plays
Rees Salter

TELL US A BIT ABOUT THE CHARACTER YOU PLAY?
Rees is a bit lost in life, he's been dealt shit cards and he knows it. He has plenty of attitude to hide behind but is a genuine guy. He loves his twin sister dearly.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT PLAYING YOUR CHARACTER?
Rees is a fighter, sticking up for himself which I think it great to play. He is also so different from how I am now, but when I was a teenager I had certain aspects the same as Rees and it's nice to step back into that, for a while.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE AND DISLIKE ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER IF YOU WERE INTRODUCED IN REAL LIFE?
His attitude - I don't like people who put on a front, but apart from that, I think he is quite a likable character.

WHAT ARE THE SIMILARITIES/DIFFERENCES BETWEEN YOU AND THE CHARACTER YOU ARE PLAYING?
He is very confident and cocky which I think I can be, at times. He is also very determined which is a trait that I definitely carry. I think he's got a nasty streak in him, especially towards his father, which I hope I don't have.

WERE YOU A FAN OF FOOTBALLERS' WIVES BEFORE GETTING INVOLVED WITH EXTRA TIME?
I'm ashamed to say that I hadn't really watched it, though no particular reason. I'm stuck to the current series though, so far it's fantastic.

WHAT DO YOU THINK VIEWERS WILL THINK OF THIS EXTENSION TO FOOTBALLERS' WIVES?
It's definitely as saucy, edgy and very dramatic, which I hope viewers will enjoy.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST PROFESSIONAL ACTING ROLE?
I had a very small role in The Bill playing a footballer, but this is my first contract.

WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND BROUGHT UP?
I was born in London but grew up in Bournemouth, my parents moved there when I was two.

WHERE DO YOU LIVE NOW?
When I landed the role I moved to South London.

DO YOU SUPPORT A FOOTBALL TEAM?
England all the way but I don't follow a Premiership team.

WHAT IS YOUR STAR SIGN AND DO YOU BELIEVE IN THEM?
I am a Capricorn but I don't like the idea of the stars controlling my future. I like to think I create my own fate.

WHAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING INVOLVED WITH EXTRA TIME?
Definitely the people and the vibe on set; everyone is so nice and we have a lot of fun. I was so nervous on the first day but that quickly vanished when I realized how chilled the crew were and the cast rock! They've been so good showing me the ropes, it's the most fun I've had ever!

HAVE YOU FILMED A MEMORABLE SCENE YET?
It's actually been running quite smoothly although there were a few hiccups in a scene where Fran (Yasmin/Frances Da Costa) misunderstood the director. It was only small but once she had done it I think she got a mind block we both did but then we managed to get it finished. The following day we were told that we had to do the scene again for technical reason - Fran's face was a picture!

WHAT ARE YOU HOPING TO DO AFTER FINISHING FILMING THE SERIES?
We I really hope my contract gets renewed, if not, then anything. I love acting and can't really do anything else; I'm really new to it and would love to try everything - assuming I get another role!

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME? ANY HOBBIES OR SPORTS YOU ENJOY?
When I was younger I used to in-line skate - I love that sort of thing, snowboarding, water sports and want to get more into that. I'm thinking of starting break-dancing lessons too.
