Plays
Yasmin Salter

DESCRIBE YOUR CHARACTER:
She's a gobby little madam! Her mouth gets her in to trouble a fair bit but she always does what she thinks is right.

REMIND US OF WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR CHARACTER AT THE END OF LAST SERIES:
Yas has got back with Seb after a few hiccups with her ex, Cash. Her mum came back from Spain and she has a new man. So it is looking like a cosy family unit.

YASMIN SEEMED TO HAVE A ROCKY RELATIONSHIP WITH SEB LAST SERIES - IS THEIR RELATIONSHIP ON AGAIN IN THIS SERIES?
The relationship with Seb is on but it's still rocky. All they seem to do is argue.

DO YOU THINK THEY REALLY LOVE EACH OTHER?
I think I'll let people make their own minds up about that!

YASMIN HAD A PROBLEM WITH HER EX-BOYFRIEND, CASH, LAST SERIES - HOW IS THEIR RELATIONSHIP THIS SERIES?
Yas will always have a weak spot for Cash. He's dangerous, sexy, tough... All I can say is Cash decides he won't give Yasmin up without a fight.

WHAT DO YOU THINK THE ATTRACTION IS?
Yas likes Seb because he's cute, funny and rich - everything Cash is not. But we all love a bad boy...

YOU HAD TO DO A RACY SEX SCENE LAST SERIES WITH SEB, ARE THERE ANY COMING UP THIS SERIES?
Yasmin has been quite tame this series in terms of sex scenes. I have had a few saucy scenes but nothing as racy as last time - she must be growing up.

EXTRA TIME IS FULL OF SEX SCENES - WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THEM?
I definitely don't think Extra Time would be the same without the sex! With so many beautiful people in one programme how could there not be?!

HOW DO YOU PERSONALLY LIKE TO BE SEDUCED?
I sound really lame when I say this but it's got to be a man who makes me laugh - dinner, champagne, none of that matters if you can't laugh when something goes wrong.

WHAT WOULD YOUR IDEAL DATE BE?
My ideal date would be with someone like Danny Dyer or Lee Ryan - cheeky, cute and up for it but you'd know they would be a good mate if nothing else.

DO YOU CURRENTLY HAVE A BOYFRIEND?
I've been with my boyfriend for about 6 months and he's great. We always have a laugh whatever we're doing.

THE SALTER FAMILY WERE QUITE CLOSE LAST SERIES, IS IT THE SAME THIS SERIES?
I think the Salter family will always be close even though they have their rows and their ups and downs. But they always make up and above all, they trust each other, after what they've been through they'd have to.

DOES YASMIN LIKE MATT BEING INVOLVED WITH HER MUM JOLY?
Yasmin doesn't trust Matt at first - she thinks he is a gold digger and it's Rees who thinks he is great. But as this series goes on, there's a few revelations and their opinions change (but not necessarily for good!).

DO YOU THINK YASMIN HAS CHANGED SINCE LAST SERIES?
Oh yes, Yasmin has matured a lot, she's seen a completely different side of life and what I admire in her is that although at first she get a bit caught up in it all, she's still the same Yas and she still keeps her bud Chanel.

HOW DOES YASMIN GET ON WITH HER DAD BRUNO IN THIS SERIES?
Yas thinks a lot of Bruno. He is after all, her real dad and in this series she starting to realise what's important - family. They get on quite well although there's always some problem and I think Lucy's still not a big fan of Yas!

ARE YOU CLOSE TO YOUR FAMILY?
I'm very close to my mum and dad and sister, just because they've always been there for me. With family you know they don't care what you do as long as you're happy.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT PLAYING YOUR CHARACTER?
In the last series it was great fun to play a mouthy, bitchy little so and so... but Yasmin has grown up quite a bit this series so it's been fun to play her with a bit of a conscience, realising what her actions will do to people etc.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE AND DISLIKE ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER IF YOU WERE INTRODUCED IN REAL LIFE?
Now she's matured I don't think there's anything I'd dislike about Yas. She's feisty, gobby and makes mistakes but at least she apologises for it now! She can still be a bit self-centred sometimes though.

WHAT ARE THE SIMILARITIES/DIFFERENCES BETWEEN YOU AND THE CHARACTER YOU ARE PLAYING?
We both speak our minds, even if it gets us into trouble. I'm not as tough as she maybe. In the first ep you'll see Yas getting into a bit of a scrap and I reckon I'd be over in after the first punch!

HOW DO YOU THINK EXTRA TIME DIFFERS FROM FOOTBALLERS' WIVES?
Extra Time is racier than Footballers' Wives, we can swear and I think the soundtrack really brings it alive. It's quite pacy too, blink and you'll miss it!

HAVE YOU FILMED A MEMORABLE SCENE YET?
There's been tons of great scenes but off the top of my head, having Rowetta from The X Factor do an impromptu performance was fab - what a voice!

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST PROFESSIONAL ACTING ROLE?
This is my first professional role! I did an independent film last summer as well but it was pretty low-budget.

WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND BROUGHT UP?
I was born in Barking, Sussex but brought up in Surrey.

WHERE DO YOU LIVE NOW?
I live in North London now with my friend who is one of the make-up artists on Extra Time.

DO YOU SUPPORT A FOOTBALL TEAM?
West Ham of course!

WHAT'S THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING INVOLVED WITH EXTRA TIME?
The cast and crew are so cool - it has to be that. Over the summer, in between the first and second series I missed everyone.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING SINCE FILMING THE LAST SERIES?
I went on holiday in between the series, spent a lot of time drinking Rose wine (there's nothing better in summer!) and I performed in a play for three weeks in Islington.

WHAT ARE YOU HOPING TO DO AFTER FINISHING FILMING THE SERIES?
Who knows? I'm definitely eager to find some more theatre work. But I would also like to do more TV - whatever comes my way really!

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME? ANY HOBBIES OR SPORTS YOU ENJOY?
I still love salsa dancing although when it's cold outside I just want to curl up in front of the fire. I also go and see my mate, who's a racing driver, kick some arse at Brands Hatch.

WHICH HIGH STREET STORES DO YOU ENJOY SHOPPING IN?
River Island is fab, also Kookai, Miss Selfridge, Mango, Zara - I could go on!

ARE YOU MORE OF A SHOES OR A CLOTHES SHOPPER?
Oh shoes definitely! And bags...

WHAT BEAUTY PRODUCTS DO YOU SWEAR BY?
I'm going to sound a bit posh now but I have a brilliant Chanel mascara. Vaseline is good for your lips as well.

WHAT DO YOU ALWAYS CARRY IN YOUR HANDBAG?
Blusher, mascara, lip gloss, body spray, perfume, body lotion, hand cream... blimey, I sound like a right girl don't I?!

HOW DO YOU KEEP IN SHAPE?
I keep in shape by dancing, going to the gym, anything I can fit in really. We've all been really bad this series though. It's winter and Christmas - too many parties and Christmas dinners!

WHAT EATING AND FITNESS TIPS DO YOU HAVE?
The only tip I have is eat what's right for your body. Let's be honest, you feel good for about 5 minutes after eating McDonalds then you feel like crap so eat what feels right.

WHAT IS YOUR AGE?
23.
